More importantly, you have been on my heart all day too

I want to be near you the way seagulls want to be near Wal-Mart parking lots

I want to see you the way blind men want to see anything

I want to touch you so badly I would settle for a handshake and be happy

I just want to feel your presence again, in a quiet room, where I can hear your breath in the spaces between my own.

I want to hold your hand in mine, and smile to myself because of how well yours fits in mine.

I want to keep writing, but I can’t come up with words to describe the way I miss you.

I think it’s because there are no words for this.
